Stargate was a good running series , I watched it when it first poped onto HBO back MANY years ago :) , wish I had all the series to watch now without having to stream it .

Richard Dean Anderson was tired of McGyver as he did all his own stunts and was beat to shit and was like I need a lighter duty job and said I quit . I have all of McGyver also and Dukes Of Hazzard .

go to amazon in your country and search for "Stargate: SG1 The Complete Series"

For SG1

Wait for a day or 3 and watch to your hearts content :)

Getting it now but that bluray 1080p will kill me as my download is slow-ish LMAO , but good find @Glenn , maybe a 720P for me would be what I would go for as I have cheap 1080p TV's anyway LOL .

EDIT = Found 720p for my likes ( smaller size over all )

Try downloading a 1TB Retro games pack for a raspberry pi, that was the longest 8 days of my life, but it got there.

Your download speed will depend not only on the size of the file and your connection speed but also on how many seeders and peers are online. I got both the 1080p and 720p collections listed above, and for me, the 1080p version downloaded 5 times faster than the 720p version while downloading them both at the same time. They both finished in less than 5 hours. Thanks for the links, guys! :)

My up speeds at 3 - 5 MB/s usually get 3.6

My down speed is 6 - 7MB/s I usually get 6.1

The actual quote speed of my ADSL connection is 50mb/s down and 25mb/s up, that mb not MB mB or even Mb. and yes that is ADSL - you know the thing thy brought out in 2001 - 2002 and everyone used for 10 years )2011 - 2012) then NBN came out, well where I live never got NBN, but as there is less people on ADSL I get better speeds than back in 2012.

The rain makes my ADSL go slow still

Reacher TV version has 3 seasons due to its popularity i have seen that it has a 4th season and it is predicted to air Dec 2026.

It's rumoured that Firefly is returning as an animated version.

It's rumoured that Firefly is returning as an animated version.

Not a rumour, I seen Nathan confirm it was happening on his facebook, AI says the same:

As of March 2026, an animated Firefly series is in advanced development with the original surviving cast returning to voice their characters. Nathan Fillion (Mal), Gina Torres (Zoë), Alan Tudyk (Wash), Jewel Staite (Kaylee), Morena Baccarin (Inara), Sean Maher (Simon), Summer Glau (River), and Adam Baldwin (Jayne) are set to return.

I doubt I'll watch it, I loved the original series, but animation doesn't do it for me :)

I've watched a lot of good series and they got cancelled before they completed the main story. I've also watched to the end of series and it was "All just a dream", or they Time travel and none of what happened really happened (new timeline), to me those sorts of endings are a cop out and I stopped watching TV series entirely. I'd rather sit down and watch some youtube channels and actually learn something or understand things at a deeper level. Passive viewing doesn't give me a dopamine hit - that is why short form content is something I actually avoid. Because really all you can fit in a 60 to 3 minute video is your opinion or one side of a argument or one perspective. Then the crappy music and bad dancing, I'm out. The same with watching a gamer play a game - I can't stand the over reactions and yelling they do. I understand why people enjoy such things, but my brain just goes - "nope this is a waste of time, turn it off". My brain just want to know why, how and confirm thoughts.

That said I do watch standup comedy as observational humour etc is very funny to me as I also observe people, mostly because I was never able to figure them out, so I did it to learn how to fit in as a kid, once I was old enough to not have to anymore, I stopped doing that. But the funny side of it is still there. I guess I've always known life was a sick joke, because really, none of us will get out of it alive.

Fringe was a great sci-fi series an excellent cast, screenplay and production.

The problem I have with them all is they don't explain in a way I feel satisfied - even when they don't get cancelled. Not to mention all the side stories they never wrap up. But I enjoy each episode, so I don't really mind at the time, just after woods when I think how many hours I put in.

Try to look for 1080 with reasonably smaller size, problem is that some folks either don't know how to convert, maybe they have some high bitrate or something and the files are unnecessarily big.

Some 50 min video that I was getting recently, Death in Paradise TV series, can be found @450MB to 550MB in 1080p but some torrents can be easily (well) over a GB, even 2+GBs in 1080p.

I have tons of recorded TV content in .ts format, converting it to H265 .mp4 in Avidemux and while it is mostly decent compression, sometimes something goes off the rail and size is not reduced much.
Once I ripped DVD to VOB (MPEG2 files I believe) and had OK size and quality with two discs converting their ripped content to something reasonable but VOBs from one disc were a headache, in the end I kept ripped VOBs from that DVD to return to it later. Converting video files is almost like alchemy, that's why you get those tons of programs out there for converting videos. There are no hard and fast rules in this area, that is why people keep trying to make better program than what is available out there and there is plenty.
