.. in the browser you use. This should work even if you have removed Edge so that system links still function as it will use your browser choice

A Tool to Redirect News, Search, Widgets, Weather, and More to Your Default Browser

This tool filters and passes the command line arguments of Microsoft Edge processes into your default browser instead of hooking into the microsoft-edge: handler, this should provide resiliency against future changes. Additionally, an Image File Execution Options mode is available to operate similarly to the Old EdgeDeflector. Additional modes are planned for future versions.

No Default App walkthrough or other steps, just set and forget.

Dev note = I am going to use this in a VM and system prep to find if it sticks and works after a capture and install the system prep image, I am already in a VM so be a few minutes.

This works on my 10 IoT with Edge intact daily PC.

EDIT = It will work with Edge removed. Use the AveYo removal.bat on desktop and then use Edge Redirect as it will detect Edge is gone and Redirect will pick it up from there.

If Edge is installed and has not had it's first run, need to do that and then Redirect will work.
You pick a system link that will pop up a box to choose Edge as the browser, let it popup Edge, close edge then setup Redirect and it will work.
