Notes:
By default I disable all the security but it can be re-enabled via the LastOS-Options folder on the desktop and from the ISO as needed: X:/ssTek/sources-x64/$FirstLogonApps/LastOS-Options_v4.exe - By running this you will have the same tweaks on the desktop to enable/disable security. You can also use the LLStore to enable/disable them. Once you have the security re-enabled you can then use Defender Control to re-enable that too. They are disabled to reduce HDD wear and tare and CPU stalling. If you know the safe ways to use the internet then they aren't needed.

When I finish downloading I'll be seeding for a few months as well. =)

Edit: stuck on 0% for a couple of days, so I'm cancelling the torrent. The MediaFire link worked great. =)

Glenn, I want to extend my deepest and heartfelt thanks for the immense efforts you’ve put in over the years (applies to many of your associates as well). After fighting with with W95 and overcoming my fears, I install NT4 and then Server 2003. When I came across a mention of the LastXP on the usenet. I was hooked. Really, you’ve saved my bacon countless times and heightened my stature with friends whom I’ve helped over the last two and half decades despite my deferring to the creators of the mod. While Windows will continue for a while, all the signs point to MS heading to a pure subscription model (yech!) like so many others. I’ve been enjoying your foray to Linux on a 2nd machine as I’ve been increasingly annoyed (if that’s possible) at the negative changes MS insists on, while they bring other needed things like the tabbed Explorer.

I've not booted to windows for over a month now, I am never going back, I'd rather buy an Apple than use Microsoft.

Even fixing peoples Windows 11 for work, I just don't bother doing anything to make their lives better, I just fix the problem and send them out with their dodgy OS that I know will break again next month when it updates - My Linux Mint install hasn't had any problems, except after a lightning storm killed the power for whatever reason, my M.2 no longer booted, just went to a black screen, I had a Time Shift backup and it took under 10 minutes to boot and restore it, all my data was fine because it was on a different disk/partition mounted to /home. The backup was 3 days old, so not a big loss in terms of software, one 300mb update later and they were back to up to date. Look, I can see the appeal of windows "Just works" but that is mostly because of hardware conflicts, not the OS, if you either get hardware verified to work with Linux or you take the time to work around any bugs with your setup on linux, you'll have a VERY solid OS, infact I don't think I've turned my PC off since I restored it, so it's been over a month of nightly sleeping PC, waking every morning ready to use.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Glenn deserves a lot of credit for the work put in.

I wish I could follow to the world of Linux but alas that is a world of make believe for me so I keep appreciating the efforts on MS
