Hi everyone,

I registered here to say hello and thank you for this great Mint mod. I absolutely love LastOS because it's basically Mint, but I just like the look of it better.
Until further notice
Tosa

P.S.
How do I upgrade from LastOS_22.2 to LastOS_22.3?
Can I just click on “Edit/Update system to Linux Mint 22.3 Zena” in the update manager?

yes, you nailed it. it is just mint, you upgrade it exactly the same way as mint. there is a step by step tutorial on linuxmint.com but it will offer to upgrade after about 4 weeks. no need to rush to it, unless you get excited by OS upgrades, then you need to be willing to reinstall using the new base (if anything goes wrong), i don't even risk it anymore, just backup and fresh install. my /home partition is seperate to my OS, so it's so easy to be back to what I was doing. even chrome, github etc stay configured and signed in, i just have to install things from llstore and i am back.

Thanks for your feedback about the Boot logo changing I have changed how I do it and made it better:

That's all it takes to contribute here, if I don't see a need to fix a problem, I don't spend time on it, so by having the users respond, I know where to focus. Also share any tweaks, scripts, apps and ideas you have, I can implement them to make you have less manual work to do post install and I find the great tools others are using :)

i'm slowly making the transition from you know where to you know where.
As i've said there are ome apps that don't have a linux version or eqiivelent but the industry and developers are branching out to have multiple OS versions. Give me some more time and i will go over to the dark/light side as MS progresses into the 'i want more money' side or the 'my AI is good for you'.
As some of you are aware the hunger of AI is growing at an expontential rate that the data farmss are getting bigger and driving RAM prices up high.

I just installed LastOSLinux Plymouth theme in my Mint 22.2 Laptop, I then did the upgrade to 22.3 and the Boot Theme stayed applied, thanks again.
